My name is David and I’ve always loved making things, experimenting with different materials and turning simple ideas into something a little bit different. Heytesbury Handmade grew from that love of creating and my enjoyment of making colourful, quirky pieces that have their own personality.
Everything you see in my shop is handmade by me with care in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside. I love playing with colour, trying out new ideas and creating things that are fun, unusual and hopefully make you smile.
One of the things I love most about handmade products is that they aren’t mass-produced. There may be tiny differences from one piece to another, and I think that’s part of their charm. You’re buying something that has genuinely been made by hand rather than something that’s come off a production line.
My collections are constantly evolving as I discover new materials and have new ideas, so you never quite know what might appear in the shop next!
